How To Simplify Auction Posting And Save

Step 1. Take Photos of your auction items. Either use a standard photo that has been scanned into your computer or take digital images and load them into your computer.

Step 2.Use the IrfranView software to compress your images for fast loading. See our tutorials for image compression. Download IrfanView Software then Unzip it. If you don't have an unzip program for your PC pick a free download [Recommend UltimateZip] Then run the Setup program. The program will be stored on your C Drive.

Step 3. Make an Ad either using our free Ad templates (members use our WYSIWYG Eidtor. Some of our other Ad maker tutorials are How to make a slide show Ad or How to make a Rotating Ad. Save the Ad you created to the clipboard or notepad for use in step 5.

Step 4. If this is the 1st time your using Auction Submit, download the Auction Submit program.

1.You must configure Auction submit by loading the current modules for the Auction Hosts you wish to use. To do this go to the menu, chose Modules and then install the modules you want to use.

2.Update the Categories for your Auction host by using the file menu Categories and selected the Auction Hosts you want to update categories for.

3. Enter your personal profile information. Go to the Option tab on the file menu and select Edit Defaults for your Auction Host. This may be ebay, yahoo, amazom etc. Once selected enter in your information for that host. Items such as user name, default auction duration, default categories and shipping information.

Step 5. Use the New Listing menu item on the Auction Submit menu and click the Create New Listing Button at the bottom of the Dialog box. Paste the Ad you created earlier into the white box labeled Description in the Auction Submit program. Also Fill in the title for your auction, the main image URL, Starting price, Item location [city,state], length of Auction and Category. Some of this will be pre selected from you earlier input in the defaults area you used in step 4.

Step 6. Now select extras to enter any extra information. We suggest that you feature the item, Boldface and highlight. Also select the second category tab and chose a second category. Click ok when your done.

Step 7. Once you have completed all the previous steps, click preview listing. This will give you the view as to exactly how the Ad will appear on your Auction Host site. If you are happy with it, click add listing to add it to your new listings. You have successfully created an auction item listing. the item will not be posted until you click Submit selected or Submit all. You can prepare all your auction items in advance, chose the best time to post and then use the submit all button to post them all. This process will only require that you be online. Your auction host does not need to be active.

Step 8. Save the templates to cute and paste for future auctions to save time, each and every time.
