Bidder Form Mail Faq's

Why is this service not free or donation supported like other services? This services requires extensive custom software and hosted services to operate with great security. This service is really very inexpensive. Other services offer only mail forms for your web server accounts and are $14.95 per month per form. No one offers forms integrated into your Ads, except this service. Also the benefit that you will generate focused leads for you business certainly makes this service easily pay for itself. This method is allowed by eBay.

Why do I need a service like this, doesn't everyone have a mail client? The main reason to use this service is not because you don't have a mail client. It's so that you can offer a convient form that will help you collect leads and it will work on most auction sites. Also it doesn't depend on the email address that the you gave to the the auction site for contact. This means that you can direct the sent mail to any account you wish.

How do I change my e-mail address for the form? Simply go to your member account and change it in the dialog box.. [ It will automatically change your Bidder Form Mail Access Code and new mail will go to that address.]

How do I cancel my account? Your account is canceled automatically when your money expires.

Is this allowed on ebay? Below is a summary of the listing policy. The areas of interest are bolded. {Short answer is yes.}

eBay allows sellers to place the following types of links in your item's description:

One link to your e-mail address that opens an e-mail client for potential buyers to ask questions about the item in that listing

Your e-mail address may be a link that opens an e-mail client or web form (no links are permitted off of the web form) for potential bidders to ask questions about the item in that listing. Please note that the link may only be used to enable an e-mail client or web form. It may not take you to another web page or promote other items that you may have for sale outside of eBay.

Can I send the responder any e-mail? No only when you list an item that is reflected in the description of your e-mail. Once you e-mail the responder with that information, you can ask permission to do other things. Their response will dictate what comes next.

What do I do with the responses I get? Save them and create a list of interested buyers by category. The reason to save them is that people forget what they did and you may need it it your accused of spaming.

Does Auction Essentials 4U maintain the e-mail responses? No. You are the only one that recieves the email response.

What happens if someone steals my Bidder Mail Form code and puts it in their Auction? The responses will come to you.
